Mind Organization for Moms (Part 4)

I am SO pleased with this program, Mind Organization for Moms!  I'm very proud of how I've set up my new system and how smoothly it is working and delighted I am to actually enjoy my life now.

Are you ready to change your routine to better accommodate all that is swirling around in your brain?  It took me a long time to actually take this course.  I really wondered if it would be helpful to me and if I could actually make it work.  I love it!

*Note: I sent this ebook off to FedEx to be printed for my convenience.

I hope that you will take some time to think about your current situation.  Believe me, I have tried all kinds of organizing systems, but this one was so different and very much exactly how I want things to be.  I am free from constantly thinking about ALL the stuff I have floating around in my brain.  It's all neatly tucked away and I can review it at certain times.  My daily schedule is getting better and I'm also checking lots of things off my list.  But I think my favorite part was cleaning out my email inbox.  What a relief to see NO NEW EMAIL there as I go to bed each night.  That alone was frustrating me.

So, what are you waiting for?

Mind Organization for Moms (Part 3)

Are you still thinking about Mind Organization for Moms?  Well, I thought about it for a LONG time before I actually did it.  I think what held me back was the amount of things I had to do and the time to try to get them done to set it up.  I'm a big picture girl and little details bog me down.

One day I decided to just take the plunge and guess what?  April Perry had set up a M.O.M. in Two Weeks program with 8 assignments.  Yes!!  I think that is what helped me feel better able to handle getting started.  It was broken down into steps that I could do.

So I signed up for the emails and I did it!  I got my Mom Machine set up and all my files in one place.  I started writing down everything that was on my brain and getting my to-do list organized.  It was a busy two weeks, but I'm so glad I did it!

Here's a little video of my progress:

Mind Organization for Moms (Part 2)

My second really fun project for Mind Organization for Moms was to establish my "office" center.  I do not have any one place to call my own.  My desk has orchids on it, my computer is on the dining room table and I have scattered boxes and piles of papers everywhere.

I took some of April's ideas and made them work for me.  I found a little space on our kitchen counter in the corner.  I took away the mess that was cluttering up that space and make it neat and beautiful.  It's central and I walk by it daily.  I don't plan to spend long there, so I don't need a chair.  It's perfect.

I had a lot of fun shopping for just the right things.  I also have a large tub for my inbox on the dining room table and a file box instead of cubbies for all my other plans that I am writing out and filing away (brain no longer needed to store all this information).  You can find out all about these different filing systems in the program.

Do you have a space to call your own?  I really thought that writing all my thoughts on scattered on papers everywhere was a "good" idea, but I was always losing things.  With this system, I am able to organize all my thoughts and keep everything central.

Mind Organization for Moms (Part 1)

Recently I went through the Power of Moms Mind Organization for Moms (M.O.M.) online course.  It was absolutely amazing!!  I cannot believe that I actually feel organized and I'm accomplishing things AND enjoying my life.

One of the first tasks I was given was to clean out my email inbox.  When I first looked at this program I thought that I should completely skip this step.  Why?  I had 9000+ (gulp!!!) emails in my inbox.  I know, why in the world did I have that many?  I just didn't care to spend time sorting or deleting.  This was accumulated for 3 years (since I had my daughter).  But I was determined to do this project.  Not only that, April gave an easy organizing system for new email coming in.  SO, I took about 2 days and cleaned out my inbox.  HOORAY!!!

This has been the most therapeutic and successful accomplishments I have made in regard to getting my mind clear.  I can't tell you how often I looked at my inbox and sighed out of sheer overwhelming frustration.  Now, that everything is neatly categorized and new emails coming in have a home, I feel so much more clear headed!  It's amazing!

Another thing I did was to unsubscribe to many blogs/websites that I just didn't have time to read or sent something daily.  I just can't handle it.   My brain gets overloaded easily.  This has been a great help to me as well.

Stay tuned for more of my transformation!!

Mind Organization for Moms by Power of Moms (Introduction)

I used to consider myself an organized person...until I had kids.  I feel like for the past 5 years I have been SO unorganized when I really need to be more organized.  I have read countless books and tried to figure this out on my own.  I end up falling back into the pit with no way out.

What makes this program so different?  First, there is an ebook along with a video training and workbook.  There are numerous printables, podcasts and articles to read.  But best of all, there is a step by step process that the author April Perry has made for you to get organized in 2 weeks.

I can tell you that I get completely overwhelmed at all the piles of papers and ideas I have all over my house.  I don't seem to have any specific place to put these and I'm constantly stressing about things that are really not that important.

I was very impressed with April's system.  She has a unique way to help you get all the stuff swirling around in your brain on paper in proper places so you can do what is most important.

I invite you to see for yourself how you can be organized both in your mind and in your environment.

If you want a taste of what M.O.M. is all about check out the free ebook, Master the Whirlwind by April Perry.

PS. I can't wait to share my journey with you in the coming weeks so keep watch.  I just started my 2 week process and I can already see a HUGE difference in my stress level.  So excited!!

Motherhood Realized: An Inspiring Anthology for the Hardest Job You'll Ever Love by Power of Moms Book Review

Motherhood Realized is a gift for every mother who desires to be the best mother they can, but know that motherhood comes with a price: sacrifice.  The stories in this book are real. They will make you laugh, cry, think, ponder and pursue your children in new and different ways.  This book was written by several authors who have published articles on Power of Moms which is a great community of moms coming together for support and encouragement.   Each chapter ends with a question and a challenge.  This book is a must read and something you will want to read over and over again.  You will identify with each story in some way and find yourself being drawn further in your motherhood journey to know that you are not alone and that you are mother that God has planned exactly for your kids.

This book is exactly what I need for this time in my motherhood season.  I was so moved by these stories and they really made me think and realize that motherhood is not just about me, but about my children and about other mothers who are there to support me along the way.  This is a book that will always be on my bookshelf when I want a positive word or a story to cry with or a laugh to enjoy.
