Highlights from Letter C- Preschool (age 3)

It's been fun, but exhausting embarking on this preschool at home.  If it were just my son and myself, I think it would be a lot easier, but we have to work in preschool time between little girl's nap times.  When she is awake, it is impossible to have preschool.  However, we are starting a morning routine which involves both children and is very successful.  I will share that in a different post.  But this month we did read books and did activities and crafts all centered around letter C.  I organized this post into books, activities and crafts.  I also am doing several pages with coloring, tracing and reading that I will share at the end of this post.

Bible:
This month we are using Raising Rock Stars Bible verse as our base verse for the month.

The song tune is to Jingle Bells.

Books we read:

Activities we did:
Lacing through letter C
Sorting crayons (leftovers from my teaching days)
Making shapes with craft sticks

Parking lot #'s
Found some crabs at the beach
Crafts we made:
Toilet Paper Tube Craft from The Activity Mom- a carrot
C is for cloud (using cotton balls)
C is for Clock.  We also counted all the clocks in our house.

C is for cat
C is for caterpillar
C is for crab (can't get it to go the other way)
Lesson plans and other stuff:

*Here are my lesson plans.  I choose 10 areas for the preschool curriculum and write all my lessons from there.  I tried to do everything I wrote, but it doesn't always happen.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm actually researching for resources for my homeschool preschool and these are great.
