The M.O.B. Society Boy Mom Blog Hop (July 16-23)

Hi, I'm Shonda here at Milk N' Honey Learn and Grow!
I'm so glad you came to visit!

Me with my son Shrade- 3 years old

I like to post about:
*Preschool - Letter A
*Learning Activities- 3 Bite Sized Science Activities
*Favorite Books- Tip, Tip, Dig, Dig
*Food Fun 4 Kids- Blueberry Banana Baked Oatmeal
*Parenting- Positive Conclusion
*Free and Fun Activities- Nature Center
*Bible Time- Summer Bible Reading Adventure

I also do reviews and giveaways from time to time.

I started this blog about 2 years ago to chronicle the adventures in teaching my son.  I like to find and share good ideas.  I was a Kindergarten teacher for 12 years before I became a SAHM.  I absolutely love it!
Shrade's favorite 1st book- Mrs. Wishy Washy (2009)

Shrade 3.5 (2012)
I grew up with a sister, so I have NO idea how to relate to little boys, but I'm learning.  I really appreciate the MOB Society and especially Brooke who wrote Warrior Prayers.  I am convinced that God has great plans for my son and I will do anything to help him become the man of God that he is called to be.   I pray the Warrior Prayers for him everyday!

And our daughter, Jessna, just turned 1 on May 6.

I would love to get to know you and your blog so be sure to leave a link when you comment.

Also, you can find me on:

Because my passion is to teach God's Word to my children, I am having a giveaway for 1001 Ways to Help Your Child Walk With God by Kathy Reimer.  Just fill out the form below and I will pick a winner on July 31. (US only please)

Hi Jessica- My husband and I met someone named Chrade (he was from the Czech Republic). We were engaged at the time and we thought it was a really neat name for a boy, but we changed the spelling to Shrade. Also, as I was a K teacher for 12 years, we wanted a name that was unique and not one that I would have had when I was teaching. Shrade it was!

It's great to be here from the MOB Society Blog Hop.
You can do this, because God voted when He gifted you with your amazing (and darling) children. (Their cheeks are to-die-for, by the way!)
I have 5 boys of my own and there will never be a dull moment!
