Food Fun 4 Kids: Apple Cheddar Waffles

I needed to make some quick, but healthy waffles.  I didn't have time for "from scratch" but I made these waffles that have some healthy ingredients that are easy to add to any waffle mix.

Follow directions on Bisquick or pancake/waffle mix.
Add one grated apple, 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup wheat germ.
My son eats these up!  Easy to make a big batch and freeze.

We often have regular waffles (with syrup or chicken gravy) for dinner...these would certainly be healthier!

I never thought of combinging apple and cheese into a waffle! Yummy!
